Choice & Career Academy Programs

Special Programs, Magnet/Choice Offerings 
BRCHS has a nationally renowned Science/Technology/Engineering/Math (STEM) Academy.  This four-year, pre-university course of study is designed to meet the needs of highly-motivated students wishing to engage in a tailored curriculum with opportunities to pursue studies in mathematics, science, engineering, and technology such as computer game design. STEM students take courses through the Advanced International Certificate in Education (AICE) partnership and the College Board Advanced Placement program. Boca Raton high school students choose between engineering and an architectural drafting course track. All students applying to this program must meet the following eligibility criteria: 3.0 GPA.

According to a Cambridge executive, the BRCHS Cambridge AICE program is the largest in the world, with over 5,000 college level AICE exams taken by students each year.  

According to a College Board executive, the BRCHS College Board Capstone Diploma program, with over 389 students participating, is the largest in the world. 

Industry certifications may be earned in Basic Life Support, CPR, First-Aid, Pharmacy Tech, EMR, Culinary ServSafe Manager, Microsoft Office Specialists and Auto Cad. 

The BRCHS Navy Jr. ROTC Bobcat Regiment has the longest streak of Distinguished Unit ratings and top sustained performance rankings of any Navy Jr. ROTC in the USA. 

BRCHS student leaders have won more top honors than any student leaders at the State Student Government Association Convention during each of the past eight years.
