Boca High will be administering the SAT on Saturday, September 26th. Registration is closed for new testers but if students are registered already and their SAT admission ticket is for September 16th at Boca Raton High School, please take note of the following protocols due to COVID-19.

In preparation for testing, please share with your students and staff the new policies and procedures that will be in place.

 

On test day,

  • All students will have a temperature check.
    • Any student with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be admitted and will be asked to reschedule. 
  • All students will be screened with health and wellness questions (Health and Wellness Questions below) prior to check-in.
    • Those responding yes to any of the checklist's symptoms will not be admitted and will be asked to reschedule.
  • Students must bring their own pencils, calculator, and mask.
  • Students are required to wear a facial covering.
  • Students will be seated six feet apart.
  • Cleaning of "high-touch" surfaces at the test center, such as door handles and restrooms throughout the test day.

 

Health and Wellness Questions


  • Students responding YES to any of these questions will be asked to LEAVE the school, not test, and will have the opportunity to reschedule SAT with College Board.
    • Have you tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
    • Have you had any of these symptoms in the last 14 days: fever (100.4 or higher), chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea? 
    • Are you experiencing any of these symptoms at this time? 
    • Have you been in close contact (within 6 feet for 15 minutes or longer) with someone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 in the past ten days? 
    • Have you been in close contact (within 6 feet for 15 minutes or longer) with someone who was asymptomatic, but diagnosed with COVID-19 or who has tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19 in the last ten days? 
    • Have you traveled outside the country or to any high-risk locations in the last 14 days or been in close contact with someone who traveled to high-risk locations in the past 14 days?
