Aurora Dominguez is a 10th grade AICE and AP teacher at Boca Raton Community High School. Mrs. Aurora Dominguez holds a masters of science degree from Florida International University in Mass Communications and Journalism, with a minor in Spanish-Language Journalism and Writing, as well as a bachelors degree in Mass Communications, English Literature and Theater from Sacred Heart University in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mrs. Dominguez is also an experienced journalist, having worked as an editor and reporter at publications such as The Miami Herald and Bauer Xcel Media. Dominguez also teaches and has taught as a professor at institutions such as Florida International University, Miami-Dade College, Broward College, Florida Atlantic University and University of Miami. One of her most recent adventures includes working as an Advanced English Language educator for international students at ISSOS (International Summer School Of Scotland) at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Mrs. Dominguez loves her students at Boca High, where she teaches AICE General Paper, AICE Global Perspectives and AP Seminar as a whole in the Global Writing Block.
